When Bob Parsons was growing up, no one seemed to think he’d amount to much.
He was born into a lower-middle-class family in Baltimore in the 50’s. With parents who were gamblers (not the winning kind), he seriously lacked career role models. Bob failed the fifth grade, and just barely graduated high school (his teachers let him pass because he joined the marines).
None of that stopped him from starting two thriving businesses, which he sold for billions. It’s an amazing underdog victory story.
